We also require a search warrant before considering the disclosure of the contents of an Evernote account in response to a US criminal request from a US government agency. In many cases, including national security requests, we do not provide all of the information requested by the legal process. We carefully scrutinize each request for user information we receive and respond as narrowly as possible under the law and in accordance with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
